Hospitality lighting
In hospitality, lighting is part of the service. Guests may never notice the fittings, but they remember how a lobby, a suite or a spa felt.
What this space asks of light
The challenges that shape the design.
- 01
Layered atmosphere
Arrival, dining and rest each need a different level and colour of light, often within a single space.
- 02
Heritage fabric
Stone, timber and carved detail need light that models texture without damaging or overexposing it.
- 03
Day-to-night change
Spaces must work in daylight, at dinner and late at night, ideally from one lighting plan.
