About us
Two friends, one idea: lighting that is advised, not just sold.
Luz Light is a New Delhi lighting company founded in 2003, specialising in LED lighting for interior and exterior spaces.
Our story
From a friendship to a lighting practice.
Sanjeev Dang, a lighting manufacturer, and Samir Agarwal, a lighting salesperson, met in 1999. Their friendship grew into a business partnership, and in 2003 they founded Luz Light to offer lighting consultancy to designers, architects and engineers.
The company has since grown into a specialist in large commercial lighting projects, while continuing to work on retail spaces, offices, homes, landscaping and building façades.
Our aim is to create ambience and to deliver cost-effective, energy-saving lighting solutions. We design LED lighting to suit each business, because the atmosphere of a place shapes how people feel when they visit it.
Through our Luzedu initiative, we also run educational seminars at architecture and interior design schools across India.
Human Touch Lighting
Our holistic approach to lighting living spaces.
It is what sets us apart: we design lighting around the space and the people in it.
The structure of the space
We analyse the room’s structure, its walls, and the placement of furniture and décor.
Floors, ceilings and colours
Materials and colours change how light behaves, so we study them before we specify a fitting.
The people who use it
Age and lifestyle shape what good light feels like for the people who live or work in a space.
